Thanks for the quote about the financial health of the Preds. This ownership group, and the city, have done a great job to make the lease deal a win-win. The ownership group is demonstrating a sound, long term business approach that continues to benefit all involved! |

It was a really fun game. The team is playing exciting hockey this year, and that makes a world of difference for me, win or lose.
It's nice to see so many shots on goal.
It's nice to see creative playmaking.
It's nice to see how much faster this team is.
It was great to watch them shut Spezza down, holding him to one SoG, and stealing the puck from him several times.
Weber is amazing.
What the heck is this team going to do when Stalberg, Fisher and Cullen come back? I'm not missing any of them. I imagine Jarnkrok and Forsberg will be sent down, but damn I hate to see it.
I couldn't help but notice that the Capitals scored one goal and lost in a shootout on opening night. Yeah, they scored four last night, but we had our days too. For the Caps fans' sake I hope the latter is more indicative of the season they will have.
I'm pretty much done with this thread and Weber is STILL amazing. I can't believe he doesn't have a Norris yet. If he played on a Canadian team he'd have one. Hopefully that changes soon. He deserves the trophy. |

I'd be shocked if Forsberg went anywhere. After last night, given it's only one game, it should be obvious that Clune is the first to go when Stallberg returns. |
